Our Green-Schools Committee – Seven Flags and Counting!

We are incredibly proud of our Green-Schools Committee, whose dedication and teamwork have earned our school seven Green Flags – a fantastic achievement that reflects years of commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.

The committee, made up of enthusiastic pupils and teachers,  has worked tirelessly to promote eco-friendly practices throughout the school. From reducing waste and saving energy to protecting water resources and encouraging biodiversity, every project has made a real difference. They’ve also embraced global citizenship themes, helping us think about how our actions connect to the wider world.

These achievements didn’t happen overnight. The committee followed the Green-Schools seven-step programme, setting goals, monitoring progress, and involving the whole school community. Their creativity and leadership have inspired everyone to play their part in caring for our planet.
